How it Works
The menstrual cycle has three phases: Follicular, Ovulation, and Luteal. For women with regular cycles, ovulation typically occurs 14 days before the next period starts.
-
1
Ovulation Day:
The egg is released from the ovary. It survives only 12-24 hours.
-
2
Fertile Window:
Sperm can settle inside the body for 3-5 days. So, sex up to 5 days before ovulation can lead to pregnancy.
-
3
Safe Period:
Days outside the fertile window. However, this is NOT a reliable birth control method (failure rates >20%).
Scenarios

π Period Tracking
